OUR STORY

Our story began in 1982 when Tom and Molly Broder opened Broders’ Cucina Italiana with a simple goal: to bring authentic Italian food and hospitality to Southwest Minneapolis. What started as a small deli focused on fresh pasta and takeout quickly grew, as customers began asking us to cater their special events.

We embraced those early requests, gradually formalizing our catering offerings - adding party trays, antipasto displays and lasagna dinners. As demand grew, we refined our model to focus on reliable, high-quality drop-off and pick-up catering.

In 2025, we’re excited to grow again with the launch of Broders’ Hospitality - a new branch of Broders’ Restaurants dedicated to full-service events, from food and beverage to staffing and curated planning.
